Hotel De Gulden Leeuw is located in the charming town center of Workum. The well-known Jopie Huisman Museum is just 50 meters away, and there's also a museum where you can learn about Workum's rich history.

Hotel Gulden Leeuw offers the following rooms:

- 7 single/double rooms,

- 2 triple rooms, and

- 1 family room for 4 people.

The property serves an à la carte breakfast daily between 8:00 and 9:30 AM.

The staff speaks Dutch, English, German, and of course Frisian ;)

IMPORTANT:

- Our restaurant is temporarily closed due to the upcoming renovation. The reopening date is currently unknown. The existing hotel has its own entrance and will therefore not be affected by the upcoming renovation.

- For lunch and dinner, you will find a wide variety of excellent restaurants on the square and in the immediate vicinity.

- In 2027, additional rooms will become available on the ground floor. The design will accommodate guests who wish to bring their pets. Some rooms will also be available for guests with disabilities or wheelchair users.

In the area

In het hart van het sfeervolle stadje Workum ligt het centrale plein: De Merk. Een levendig plein omringd door historische gebouwen, gezellige terrasjes en leuke winkels. Hier vind je het standbeeld van onze monnik Uffink en diverse musea. De Merk is het ideale vertrekpunt voor een wandeling door het oude stad centrum. Aan de Merk staan o.a. het oude Stadhuis, de Grote Kerk en de Waag. Workum heeft ook een heel mooi uitgebreid strand. Het strand ligt ongeveer 2,5 km vanaf centrum.
